“My wife and I became first-time homeowners a year and a half ago. We found a 4 bedroom, atrium Eichler in the perfect location, that was a little bit of a fixer-upper.
After taking care of the immediate needs, we decided to look into painting the exterior, which looked like it hadn't been touched in about 15 years. Since Eicher homes are somewhat rare and eloquent homes, we wanted to make sure we chose the proper exterior finish, to enhance not only the value of the home, but it's image in the neighborhood.
After a couple of weeks of in depth research, we settled on COOLWALL® for a couple of reasons. First, the long term value can't be beat. I didn't want to go through the process of having to paint and repaint every 5 years. Second, I found that COOLWALL® was offered by Costco. This was very telling to me, as we have a lot of faith in Costco, the products they offer, the vetting process they use for vendors providing services, etc.
Once we decided to look into the COOLWALL® solution, we met with Capstone Coatings and Windows. Daniel was our sales rep and was both very knowledgeable about the COOLWALL® product, as well as concerned about our needs and what we wanted. He wasn't trying to sell me something, rather he was trying to determine if the COOLWALL® product would fit our needs and desires.
Making the decision to go with Capstone was a great decision, too. Terrence, the project manager, worked with me to find the appropriate time to do the job. The team he sent up to do the work, led by Ronald, was very professional. They were very detailed oriented, took the time to do things properly the first time, accommodated the changes that we decided to make on the fly, double-checked everything they did for quality control, and they cleaned up after their work was done.
The whole experience was very positive and I would definitely recommend COOLWALL® as a product, Costco as the agent, and Capstone as the contractor to do the job. My wife and I are very happy with our new home, even more so now that it's gone from the eye sore of the street, to one of the best looking homes on the block.

"Capstone did an outstanding job of treating our home with the TEX•COTE™ COOLWALL® product. We are very happy with the results. Capstone workers were on time and worked on our home as they might work on their own. They exceeded our expectations, frequently anticipating our questions and recommending solutions that led to the best possible result.
Our house required a lot of preparation - powerwashing, wood replacement, sanding. Each days work started with extensive protection of the grounds and masking of windows. Each days work ended with fastidious cleanup of all materials. If I hadn't seen them working I wouldn't have known they had been there at all. They left the grounds spotless and none of our plants were damaged.
So often with this type of work homeowners deal with spray painted plants and windows covered witha fine mist of paint. Capstone's great attention to preparation and cleanup prevented this outcome. More time was invested in prep and site cleanup than the actual application of the product.
